About Us

Paragon Supported Accommodation is an organisation that aims to offer a high-quality service to young people creating a positive environment for staff to work within.
The service has been established with the extensive experience with severalSocial Worker from within looked after children, and care leavers teams. Having over 25 years of experience in delivering, managing and developing a wide range of services for children, young people, within the private; and voluntary sector.
This experience has included working within the field of substance misuse, children in care, care leavers, and youth homelessness and mental health.
The core team of professionals, have a wide range of experience and qualifications, to deliver an effective quality service to young people who are placed with Paragon supported Accommodation. Our team consists of a number of staff with social work qualification, a qualified youth and community worker and several staff qualified to QCF level 3.
All members of staff have a wide range of experience, training, and qualifications specific to working with young people. Staff are encouraged to pursue training and qualifications in areas of particular interests such as Attachment Disorder, CSE, Mental Health etc.
The team has an individual training plan identified to ensure continued professional development. Newly appointed staff complete an induction program. During the induction period, the new staff member will shadow an experienced member of the team, and depending on experience, newly appointed staff are mentored by a Senior Support Mentor and offered continued learning sets following induction. All staff receive regular supervision both formal and informal by the Manager.

Aims&Outcomes

Our robust program aims to raise awareness for young people via workshops, young person training sessions and direct1 : 1weekly session conducted by our qualified social worker.

  • YP accredited online training and  general support course
We recognize that many care leavers have experienced trauma in their lives. Our organization is fully committed to working with young people in time so both calm and curious, to allow theme very opportunity to fulfil their potential as young adults. In recognition that each young person is a unique individual, we are committed to providing tailored packages.

A.S.P.I.R.E Framework

Assessment

There a lity of adult hood and the responsibility this entails. Full assessment to as certain the level off unctioning/maturity the Young people have and their vulnerability.

Strategy

To identify any intervention already in place to avoid any duplication of work which is done and to define roles and responsibility.

Partnership

By working in partnership with all relevant agencies and the young person, we hope to ensure the support packages provided to young people, clearly respond to their needs and will promote and ensure the identified target are met.

Implementation

The implementation stage identifies the best methodology for working with each young person at a pace which is appropriate for their needs.

Reflection

This stage also serves to monitor the identified targets. The young person will be supported to find the best approach suited to them.

Evaluation

Evaluation Having successfully managed longer-term and short goal the young person become ready to access longer term housing, such as their own tenancy, as hared flat or long-term supported housing.
